Join us on Wednesday 24th June following the Election of Sheriffs, a long-standing City tradition that marks the formal selection of the two Sheriffs of the City of London for the coming year. 

Held in the historic surroundings of Butchers’ Hall, 87 Barts Close, this special lunch provides the opportunity to gather after the ceremony and continue the day's celebrations over a refined dining experience!

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine before being invited to luncheon in the Great Hall. Enjoy a generous three-course menu featuring: 

Tomato Gazpacho

Datterini, pea shoots, orange bocconcini, chive oil (V) (VG available)

Courgette & Gruyere Suffolk Chicken Ballentine

crushed new potatoes, charred baby corn, vine cherry tomatoes, pea & spinach puree 

Strawberry Dream

vanilla bavarois with set strawberries, strawberry sesame glaze, strawberry sorbet

.....all thoughtfully prepared and beautifully served, accompanied by our signature wines. Dessert may be substituted with a choice of fine British cheeses.

Itinerary

12:30 pm Welcomed to Butchers’ Hall with a glass of sparkling wine in the reception.

1:00 pm Call for luncheon in the Great Hall - Three Course Lunch served

3.00 pm Lunch draws to a close

3.30 pm Depart Butchers’ Hall
